Egnater Tweaker 15 Review by Todd: My Egnater Tweaker 15 had Ruby 6V6GTSTR power tubes and three Electro-Harmonix 12AX7 tubes from the factory. I replaced the power tubes with JJ 6V6 which gave the amp more headroom; the Rubys would break up too early for my tastes. I replace the preamp tube with a low-gain Ruby 12AX7ACZ HG, a balanced Sovtek 12AX7LPS for the Phase Inverter, and left the Electro-Harmonix 12AX7 for the loop. The two biggest results from the overall changes made the cleans less brittle and more stable at louder volumes; and the high gain from the British setting was more focused closer to the tone and feel of a Marshall.
