Penta 12AX7
This is the Penta Labs select Chinese version of the 9th gen Shuguang 12AX7. I found these in high end recording gear and decided to carry them. They are very warm and articulate, with low noise and microphonics. The Penta / Shuguang 12AX7A is made in China by the Shuguang factory exclusively for Penta Laboratories.
Penta 12AT7
Penta Labs selected low noise 12AT7 made by the Shuguang factory in China. Excellent current production 12AT7/ECC81.
Penta KT88SC
The solid plate KT88SC is made in China by the Shuguang factory exclusively for Penta Laboratories. It was designed to be equivelent to the original Genelex / M-O Valve KT88 in construction techniques and cosmetic appearance. Best upgrade to any 6550/KT88 amp.
Penta Kt88-98
These are also made by Shuguang, but with a 3 hole plate. Similar to the Valve Art KT88. The Shuguang KT88's are among the finest current production KT88's available with excellent reliability, focused soundstage, wide linear frequency response, and tight focused low end.
Penta KT-66
Finally, a real KT66 that's reliable and great sounding, very close to the real thing. Made by the Shuguang factory in China for Penta Labs, and copied off the original GEC KT66. Not a reworked KT88 with a metal base like some recent faux KT66's.
